The Blanket Fort Treaty
How building a blanket fort became our weekly ritual for decompressing, reconnecting, and protecting each other from the outside world.
After especially long weeks we drag every blanket and pillow into the living room and declare it the Treaty of Couchlandia. No phones, just snacks and retelling our days inside the fort walls. It’s become our official way of saying “I’ve got you” without needing big words.
